I am a licensed Psychologist in California (PSY 18890), certified in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP), an effective research-based therapy.
As a psychologist, I have been treating individuals since 1996, and, in 2005, I opened a private practice in Palo Alto. I help my clients in both English and Hebrew depending on their preference. I’m currently also providing telehealth services.
I have been awarded the "psychologist of the year award" from the Santa Clara County Psychological Association in 2011, "Distinguished Alumni Award" from Palo Alto Univeristy and an award from the Department of Labor.
During 2004-2008 I was an adjunct clinical faculty at the department of psychiatry and behavioral services in the University of Stanford, CA, studying psychiatric disorders and providing care to Stanford physicians in distress.
In 2007 I founded the Goodwill Wellness Center, a public mental health clinic that provides free services to severely mentally ill and underserved populations. I was the director and clinical supervisor of hundreds of graduate trainess and supervised thousands of therapies until my retirement in 2019.
