What is your approach?

My approach is called Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. In that approach The patient and I work together on the specific issues that are problematic with the goal of experiencing genuine, mixed feelings, that have been usually pushed out of awareness. The work takes into consideration the importance of what is happening presently in the patient's life, but also emphasises the past and how it affects the patient's life currently through behavior patterns, thoughts and feelings. The process allows for a clearer understanding of self and of self-destructive symptoms. It is an experiential and cognitive understanding, that reaches core emotions and dramatically helps in the healing.

How long will it take?

It can take from weeks to several months, and sometimes even a year.
